Outmusic Awards Recipient for OutSong of the Year
2003, Indiegrrl performer, Rose Street founder and
singer-songwriter Irina Rivkin has performed for 25
years, from her childhood singing Russian folk and
American Jazz in a family band, to performing her own
songs for the last decade, always mixing solo work
with collaborations. Her gutsy originals journey into
the personal and political, with occasional travels into
Russian and Spanish language lyrics. Her full-length CD
“upwelling” is released on Rose Street Records April. |

Steph Furness is the founder of Aviatrix Productions,
a record label/artist community/distro/pr engine based
in New Hope, PA, on which she currently has two
recordings. She has opened for nationally-renowned
artists such as slam poet Alix Olson and Wishing Chair,
and received a “Your Vote Your Choice” award in 2002 for
her song, “Build it Up” from her debut CD, “aviatrix”.
Steph has been singing in front of audiences since age 6
and claims voice as her first instrument. Her guitar and
songwriting styles are ever-evolving, and have grown
to include blues, rock and punk. Steph’s “Warm Blanket -

Ballbach and Col Howe. Col paired her eclectic mix of
original songs with Liz's smokey vocals, and the band
was born. In the girls' spare time, they are students at
Boston's Suffolk University. |
