rehearsing for my upcoming show "Fresh Fruit goes
Baroque" - a drag cabaret taking place March 22 - April
9 at Club Cafe. Check it out!
How'd
you get involved in drag performance?
I had done beach theater on Herring Cove in Provincetown
as a way to promote HIV awareness so I was familiar with
the type of the absurd humor for which the troupe was
looking. My audition was "The Herpes
Tango." How could anyone say no to that?
What
can dyke night fans expect from the show?
Anyone who attends knows they should check their
political correctness at the door. We are equal
opportunity offenders and take pot shots at
everyone; log cabin republicans, married gay boys,
residents of Worcester, Mitt Romney, etc. It's an
amazing time
