Halloween
Ball (October 2002)
The Midway Cafe was
transformed into a spooky cauldron with carved
jack-o-lanterns lighting up the room. Costume
winners were picked from: Sexiest, Uniform, Unique,
Couple and Drag. Winners received Melissa Ferrick
and Huntington Theatre Tickets. And of course,
there were many kisses to be had with cloved oranges to
end with. |

Gay
Pride Event (June 2002)
Dyke Night hosted a night to celebrate our pride, our
bodies
and our sexuality. The night featured two of Boston's
hottest all female performance troupes: the Burlesque
Revival Association (BRA) and The
Goddess Dancing Belly Dance troupe. With
all the hip shimmies and pasties, I dare say, there
was not a dry set of panties in the house! |

Dyke
March After Party (June 2002)
This all ages, all-everything event was co-sponsored
with the Boston Lesbian Avengers
and held at Spontaneous Celebrations. It featured
superb performances by Mia Anderson's
Drag Kings, Sluts & Goddesses Troupe.
And Kristen managed to make it through emceeing on 8
inch platform shoes with a 3 foot pink bee hive wig
teetering atop her head! A truly integrated event to celebrate the
2002 dyke march theme: Unity. |

Spring
King Fling (April 2002)
Another sold old testosterone pumpin' night of gender
bending. The twenty-performance line up had the
audience screaming for more. This show featured
Boston's own All the Kings Men
Troupe and Frankie
Cocktail, both amateurs gone pro who got their
start on the Dyke Night stage. The amateur
competition was tough as all five competitors rocked
the house down. I |

Valentine's
Game Show Night (February 2002)
Over
$800 in date prizes were won during Dyke Nights Second
Annual Campy Game Show Night with the "Dyke
Dating Game" and the "Not-Yet-Legal
Wed Game."
The next series of game shows?...maybe Love Connection
so we can find out what happened on the singles dates!
