dykesinthecity
is
a clothing company geared specifically toward
dykes and those who support the LGBT community.
dykesinthecity's fashion line has evolved from
t-shirts and graphically designed merchandise into
original design pieces. Traveling across the
country, dykesinthecity has provided an
opportunity for self-expression and visibility to
many communities. dykesinthecity purposely blurs
fashion gender and body image rules in the
creation of clothing. They support fair trade and
labor practices and aim to generate positive group
identity and visibility around the globe. |

Truth
Serum Productions creator Aliza Shapiro
once found herself
with a collection of too many vintage
ties.
She created Utilities, hand stenciled ties
that have graphics or text
on them, because if you have to wear a tie
it oughta be a cool one.
She's expanded the collection to include
patches made from
vintage fabric. Special
orders are welcome.

Live Music
Artist:
Sierra
(8 pm)
"Sierra is a strong young
talent bursting onto the folk scene. Listen to this
woman; she is a sage and utterly her own person. Her
guitar style will dazzle you as her voice soothes
and inspires." - Nerissa Nields, The Nields.
"The
music is lilting and smooth. The vocals have the
same kind of quality as Natalie Merchant during her
10,000 Maniacs days or as the female counterpart to
REM's Michael Stipe." - Mike Chaiken, Thomaston
Express. |

group after the night they all shared and fostered,
Rare Faction.
In
2006, lyricist Filfy and DJ/producer Jive Alive
